Article V

OFFICERS AND THEIR DUTIES

Section 1, Election of Officers.

Each office of the Executive Council shall be individually elected by the Administrative and Lifetime membership during the annual election cycle of this Society.

No person shall hold more than one elected or appointed office on the Executive Council at a time.

For any vacant office of the Executive Council a vote shall be called within 30 days, and the voting period shall last at least 30 days.

SECTION 2.
The President shall be the presiding officer of Meetings of the Members of the Society.

All membership applications shall be submitted to the President either directly or through another member of the Executive Council.

Scheduling of events at the testing sites of the Society shall be conducted by the President or delegated by the President.

Section 3, Vice-President.

The Vice-President shall be responsible for fundraising and client outreach.

The Vice-President shall act for and in place of the President in the event of his absence.

SECTION 4.
The Secretary shall keep the minutes of the monthly meetings of the Society. The Secretary shall have the custody of business records and update the official Society website with each monthly meeting results which shall include a description of the minutes.


SECTION 5.
The Treasurer shall keep and track the roster of the Society.

The Treasurer shall further act as controller of the Society and perform all of the usual duties of that office, and specifically, shall collect the dues and assessments from the members, send reminders to the active membership to pay their annual dues, deposit the funds of the Society and draw and sign checks of the Society.


SECTION 6.
In the event of a vacancy in the office of the President, the Vice President shall succeed to their office for the duration of their term.

Vacancies in the offices of the Executive Council shall be filled by special election similar to the election proceedings specified in Article VI.
